endless summer

Welcome home!...to the overcast ickyness. Just got in from a quick trip down to Santa Rosa for a family reunion. I love going out of town to visit just about anywhere. During the summer months trips away usually involve hotter weather than we get here on the coast. More often than not it also results in coming home to the fog and cloud bank. After so many years you'd think I'd be used to it, but I still feel a little ball of disappointment and wish that, for the summer at least, I could live some place where the sunshine is endless.

Cookin up some pretties in the backyard so stay tuned.

Well, hello there. It seems like I post more about me still being around than actual posts that show I'm really around. So here I am, assuring you that I am still around, see. I even got a new do. This isn't how I'll really wear it though.

So, it looks as though it worked. I'm not too happy with the looks of the photo, so maybe I won't be posting from my phone after all. We'll see.
